Australian Skilled Migration  Welcome

Australian Skilled Migration

Welcome!

This website has been specifically designed for qualified Interface clients who wish to apply for skilled migration to Australia under one of the following visa classes:

  • skilled offshore independent visas
  • skilled onshore overseas student visas
  • skilled onshore New Zealand citizen visas

To establish if you qualify to apply for skilled migration to Australia through the Interface Program, simply complete and submit the following electronic curriculum vitae (eCV). The Interface Registered Migration Agent (Registered Migration Agent Number: 9368518) will then conduct a free, no obligation preliminary evaluation on your behalf. If you qualify, your Authorised Interface Representative (or Interface eCounsellor) will work closely with you to support you through the rather complex skills assessment and skilled visa application processes.

Self assessment: Before you take the time to submit your eCV on this site, please complete the following self assessment exercise

  • Are you over 18 and under 45 years of age (55 years if applying for general skilled migration to New Zealand)?
  • Are you literate in the English language in reading, writing, speaking and listening?
  • Do you have a skilled occupation and relevant work experience or are you an onshore overseas student or New Zealand citizen?
  • Do you have good character, sound health and a clear police record?

Submission of your eCV: If you answered 'no' to any of the above questions it is unlikely that you will qualify for skilled migration to Australia at this stage. If this is the case and you are under 44 years of age, click here to establish whether you qualify for full-fee study in Australia instead. Note: Overseas students who have successfully completed approved studies leading to a skilled occupation in Australia qualify to lodge their application for Australian skilled migration without having to satisfy DIMIA's work experience requirements.

If you were able to answer 'yes' to the above questions, please proceed by completing and submitting your eCV so that the outcome of your preliminary evaluation for skilled migration to Australia can be supplied to you promptly.

Please answer all questions in each section carefully and accurately and if any section, part or question that does not apply in your case, indicate this by ticking the relevant check boxes as follows, Not applicable, and/or by selecting or entering not applicable  in the relevant drop-down menus and text boxes as follows:.

Overseas students in Australia: Overseas students who are currently undertaking full-fee study in Australia who intend to apply for skilled migration immediately upon completion, are encouraged to submit their eCV (including the details of their Australian studies) on this site. Before they do so, it is important to note that:

  1. Overseas students who have successfully completed approved studies in Australia who seek to take advantage of the Department of Immigration, Indigenous and Multicultural Affairs (DIMIA) work experience waiver, must lodge their skilled migration visa application within 6 months of the completion of their course. Note: Where relevant, work experience requirements of skills assessing authorities (such as the requirement of extensive managerial work experience for skilled occupations in Production, Human Resource, Sales and Marketing and General Management) will not be waived.
  2. Successful visa issuance for Australian skilled migration based on study in Australia is not guaranteed as the skilled migration assessment process takes many factors apart from education qualifications into consideration (including English proficiency, age at time of application, work experience, skilled occupation, character, health and security requirements as well as the reason for previous Australian visa refusals).

Immigration opportunities in other Western Countries: Whilst specific questions contained in this eCV are related to Australia, if you do not qualify for Australian skilled migration, information provided by you can be re-assessed for skilled migration to other western countries such as New Zealand and Canada upon your written request.

[Note: Since the Interface Registered Migration Agent/Solicitor and all Interface support staff adhere strictly to the Migration Agents Registration Authority's (MARA) Code of Conduct, only bonafide skilled migration applicants are welcome to submit their eCV on this site. In line with MARA regulations all information provided in this eCV and during your skilled migration application process will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to a third party organisation without your written consent.]
